How Do Group Breaks Work?
Before you join, you need to know how the cards are assigned to you. There are two main formats:
- Random Teams (Most Common): There are 30 spots (1 for each NBA team). You buy a spot, and right before our break starts, we uses a randomizer (like Random.org) to assign a team to each spot purchased. A person can buy multiple spots. You get every card pulled for the team you got assigned.
- Pick Your Team (PYT): You pay a specific price for a specific team. Popular teams like the Lakers or Spurs will cost much more than less popular teams (Nets or Clippers) because they have better "hits" (valuable cards) in that specific set for that team.
2. The Process: Step-by-Step
- The Buy-In: You purchase a spot on the this website.
- The YouTube Live Stream: You tune in at a scheduled time highlight on this website. We open the sealed boxes to prove they haven't been tampered with.
- The Opening: Bob opens the packs. If a "Lebron James" card is pulled and you have the "Lakers" that card belongs to you. If Lebron James is featured as a Cavalier on the Card than it goes to the person that has the Cavaliers in the break.
- Shipping: After the break, we sort the cards and mail them to the respective winners of those cards.
